Support the association

Donate

AAB has no paid staff and no endowment. What it does is paid for by its members, its sponsors, and people who give because they want the Puja to happen.

Where it goes

What a donation pays for

The bhog, every day of the Puja

Served free to everyone who comes, cooked by cooks brought from Assam. Nobody is asked for a pass.

Durgapatra Abhiyan

Lunch for underprivileged children in Bengaluru, during the Puja, every year since 2024.

The classes

Assamese language, dance and cooking, taught by members, free to members' children.

Relief, when Assam needs it

In 2019 the association ran flood relief out of Bengaluru. It has no standing budget for this — donations are what make it possible to move quickly.

How to give

Write to the treasurer

Online donations are being set up. Until they are live, email the association and you will get the account details and a receipt.

Before you send money

AAB will never ask for a donation over WhatsApp from an unknown number, and never asks for card or UPI PIN details. Confirm any account or QR code by writing to assamassociationblr@gmail.com before you pay.
